The COAST GUARD: Signing Up and Boot Camp

If you weren’t aware, our two distinguished hosts spent a good chunk of their adult lives in the service. As a matter of fact, they met while stationed together in the Florida Keys. On a bit of a whim – it wasn’t really planned – they decided to discuss their time in the military. This hour only covers the first part of their first year in the Coast Guard: what it was like to go to the recruiter, sign up, go through MEPS, and get through boot camp. This podcast is both educational and entertaining. Straight up, for something that was done on the spur of the moment, it’s pretty awesome – by far, one of my favorites! I have a feeling you’ll get a kick out of it too! Also, get ready because there is NO DOUBT there will be several sequels to this one.
